How Outsat works, what it costs, what stacks, what doesn't, and what Lightning has to do with it.
How much does it cost to sit?
The first sit is 1,000 sats. After that, 1,000 more than the lead takes #1. A smaller sit still lands a seat — just not the top one. Amounts snap to 1,000-sat steps.
What happens if I pay less than #1?
You still sit. Rank is total sats on that host. Pay less than the lead and you land wherever that total puts you.
Can I sit the same link twice?
Yes. The same host never makes a second row. Pay again and the sats add to the seat you already have.
Do clicks move my rank?
No. Clicks get counted. They do not climb. Time on the board does not climb. Only sats.
What can I list?
One http or https host. Paths, www, and query strings collapse to the host. Handles are not links.
Do I need an account?
No. Put a link, pay the Lightning invoice. Nothing sits until it clears.
Can I get a refund?
No. The invoice clears or it doesn't. No IOUs later.
What wallet do I need?
Any wallet that pays a Lightning invoice. Phoenix, Zeus, Wallet of Satoshi, Cash App, and Strike all work.
How is this different from Outbid?
Outsat ranks hosts in sats on Lightning. Outbid ranks links and handles in dollars. Same climb, different money.
