Glossary
Sats, invoices, hosts, sits, stacks, and the rest of the house words. Short definitions, no lore.
Bitcoin — Money nobody can freeze. The unit on this board is the sat, not the coin.
Sats — Satoshis. 100,000,000 sats = 1 BTC. Rank, invoices, and steps are sats.
Sats to USD — A dollar label for an amount of sats. The price moves. Rank does not.
Lightning — Bitcoin over channels. Instant, cheap, still bitcoin. The only rail we take.
Lightning invoice — A request for sats (lnbc… or a QR). Pay it, it settles. That payment is the sit.
On-chain — Bitcoin in a block. Slow and often expensive for 1,000 sats. The vault, not the street.
Micropayment — A small bitcoin amount that still settles. 1,000 sats is one.
Wallet — App that can pay an invoice. List. You don't need to receive. You don't need a Lightning address to sit.
Host — The site you rank. https and www get stripped. Paths and query collapse. One host, one row. Not a handle.
Sit — Pay the invoice, land on the board. Nothing sits until it clears.
Stack — Pay the same host again. Sats add to the same row. No second listing.
Rank — Total sats on that host. Clicks get counted. They do not climb.
Pay to rank — A public board where money is the score.
#1 — Highest sats. To take it, pay 1,000 more than the lead (or 1,000 on an empty board).
Outsat — This site. Lightning, hosts, sats.
Outbid — The dollar / handle cousin. Why it exploded. Crypto-native alternative. Alternatives.
Ads — Rented slots in someone else's feed. Not a public sat score.
